Oh what a beautiful day.

It was just so fabulous to be back in Sydney. The realisation of our privilege to be here and to be Australian was quite stark after our USA and South America experiences. Admittedly we are only seeing a sliver of those places BUT.. the quality of the urban enviroment in Sydney made us so proud. The other comment is the privilege of the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission). I cannot tell how much its clear, thorough and even handed treatment of all issues is a special birthright to be protected at all costs.

Now off the hobby horse.

We met Libby, Julia and Bria

n at the NSW Art Gallery, basically sat and chatted and caught up, for a couple of hours, had lunch at the cafe and had a quick flick through the exhibition. It was great to get all the news from home. Libby had driven down from Newcastle so she picked us up at the gallery and drove us to the Cruise terminal.

We took everyone through the Vista, swapped over the delivery from Coffs and the return suitcase from our cabin. Everyone seemed to love the ship and its luxury fit and finish, restaurants, theatres, lounges etc. We managed to connect with some of our friends to say hello.

The Baristas coffee lounge was a perfect location for coffee tea and cakes for our visitors.

We were sad to see everyone heading out, Julia and Brian back to Randwick and Libby driving back to Newcastle.
