Today was one of those big at sea days where the ship is nearing the end of a segment. There are a whole lot of people leaving at Sydney and a whole lot coming on board.

Our cruise director, Carson Turner is leaving at Sydney. He has been the most hardworking and wonderful host. They live streamed his last "Morning Show" and our sing out loud choir farewelled him with a version of New York New York along the lines of "start spreading the news, Carson's leaving today...." It was really lovely.

After lunch we had the "will she float?" competition of guest constructed boats in the swimming pool. The boats were constructed of found items on Vista, built to not sink when loaded with 6 coke cans. There were some amazing entrants.

Later we had our final presentation from James Grant-Peterkin on the tragic Burke and Wills expedition. JGP has been simply sensational. His lectures have been more informative and professional than anything I've ever experienced. We will certainly miss him.
