Iquique is our last port in Chile. It is based on salt petre (potasium nitrate) mining associated with Atacama Desert.

The tours looked less than exciting so its another at home day for us. There is some kind of fish processing plant at the port which has the attending aromas appreciated by the sea birds but not this sea bird.
