Absolutely glorious day today. We were anchored well off Porto Bella. Its name means "beautiful port"not suprisingly. It was an original port for Portuguese traders in 18thC. It is once again a popular holiday destination for snorkeling swimming etc.

They had a new port structure very reminiscent of Australian structures which I appreciated. We had a quick wander around. Adjacent is a large skyscraper city called Florianopolis can be viewed from the deck.

Back to art classes this afternoon and Red Ginger Restaurant tonight.
