We attended another speakers' series with Tale of two cities, St Barts and Devil's Island. A compare and contrast with St Barts overwhelmingly opulent and beautiful island in the Caribbean and Devil's Island a former penal colony still suffering and poverty.

I continued my artists' loft experience with a fair rendition of a pencil portrait of John Lennon. Sessions are one hour.

The afternoon was consumed (correct word) with a cooking lesson at the Culinary centre: Passport to the New World with John Stephano Executive Chef. menu was vegetarian meatballs with Caribbean Blaff, Pan- seared scalolops with Pecan brown butter, all spice crepes served with a Chillean red and rum cocktail.

Then off to Barb and Garry's penthouse (complete with 1.5m extra width, walk in robe and orchid) where the butler had delivered chocolate covered strawberries, which were the most delicious things ever, decorated like a waistcoast and bowtie!!! OMG no dinner for me.

Later we were treated to a comedian in the Vista theatre. Caught up with Oliver and Liz and the two grandies at 11pm.

All in all a very full day.
